PENINGKATAN LITERASI PENGGUNAAN GENERATIVE AI SECARA ETIS BAGI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI MADRASAH ALIYAH MA'ARIF SARAMPU POLEWALI MANDAR

The rapid development of Generative AI (GenAI) presents new challenges for education, particularly for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in madrasah institutions. Teachers are expected not only to be technologically literate but also to use AI tools ethically in alignment with Islamic values. This community service activity aims to improve ethical Generative AI literacy among PAI teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif Sarampu, Polewali Mandar. A participatory training method with an andragogical approach was employed, encompassing conceptual delivery, practical demonstrations, and reflective discussion. Fifteen PAI teachers from the local MGMP forum participated in this program. Results indicate significant improvements in understanding GenAI concepts, ethical awareness of AI use, and practical skills for integrating AI tools into learning. Pre and post training evaluations showed an average score increase from 56.3 to 82.7 (on a scale of 100). The program recommends the development of school level ethical AI policies and the continuation of targeted professional development training.
